Marius Plouzhnikov was a visionary physician, educator, and international leader whose dedication to otorhinolaryngology and head and neck surgery helped shape a truly global professional community. Driven by the belief that medical progress is best achieved through shared knowledge, Professor Plouzhnikov founded the International Academy of Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. The Academy was created as an inclusive platform where clinicians, researchers, and educators from around the world could come together to exchange ideas, promote innovation, and uphold the highest standards of patient care.
