Dear Academy Members, dear Friends!
As Christmas and the New Year approach, I would like to encourage us all to revitalize our Academy’s activities.
The Academy, founded on the initiative of Professor Marius Pluzhnikov as an organization uniting colleagues and like-minded individuals from the East and West, has now become widely known worldwide. The Academy has become a voting member of the International Federation of Otorhinolaryngological Societies (IFOS) and actively participates in all events held by international professional organizations.
Today, it is essential to revive our Academy’s Annual Assemblies, the most recent of which took place in Udine, Italy, under the presidency of our friend Professor Marco Piemonte. We also need to revive the symposia held at global and international forums and consider new formats to attract renowned colleagues and young professionals to the Academy.
It is crucial to complete the Academy’s website, which will undoubtedly increase its visibility. Professor Cemal Cingi is currently working on this, for which we are incredibly grateful!
In May, Professor Cemal Cingi invites all Academy members to participate in the 34th Academy Assembly, to be held in Marmaris, Turkey.
In September 2026, the World Congress of Otolaryngology will be held in Istanbul, where we will have the Academy symposium. I encourage all Academy members to participate in this significant event for the specialty.
Looking forward to hearing from you with confirmation of your readiness to participate actively in the life of our Academy!
